Daniel B. Kairys, MD, a surgeon at Lakeside Medical Center, was featured on the front page of the January 19th edition of the The Palm Beach Post in a moving story about his volunteer work providing medical care to earthquake victims in Haiti. He and his wife, Junia, a physician's assistant, spent two days tending to patients at an emergency triage center in Port-au-Prince.
