Sometimes, we need health care unexpectedly. Accidents and sudden illness may require a visit to the emergency room.
Lakeside Medical Center has a dedicated emergency entrance in the front of the facility so you can quickly and discreetly enter the emergency room. A separate, spacious ambulance entrance allows patients transported by ambulance to enter the hospital without passing through visitors in the main waiting area.
Once inside the emergency area, you’ll immediately see a triage professional who will assess your condition and see that you get the care you need as quickly as possible.
All 17 of the ER’s treatment areas are equipped with the latest technology and staffed by our qualified professional emergency team. A dedicated ER consultation room allows for private consultation with your family about your medical condition.
Diagnostic services, such as x-rays, CT scans, and laboratory services, are in close proximity to the ER. This allows for direct access to critical diagnostic services when you need it most.
A large, on-campus helipad allows Trauma Hawk air ambulances to rapidly transport patients in need of emergency transport to one of the county’s trauma centers.
