Completed in 2009, Lakeside Medical Center is located on a 50-acre medical campus at the intersection of State Rd 80 (Hooker Highway) and State Rd 441 (Main Street) .

The hospital provides a regional health care delivery system for all Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee and surrounding towns, offering modern technology and all-private patient rooms in a central location.

Lakeside Medical Center Features

    • Emergency Care – 17 emergency room treatment areas and 3 fast-track exam areas
    • Critical Care – 6 private, spacious Intensive Care Unit rooms
    • Surgery – 1,701 square feet of well-equipped, efficient surgical space
    • All private rooms – 70 single-occupancy inpatient rooms with additional family-friendly consultation rooms

    The hospital is centrally located near the three towns that make up the region: Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay. This location will improve access to quality health care for all western Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee and neighboring towns.
