Brian P. Gibbons, Jr., CHE, Hospital AdministratorBrian P. Gibbons, Jr., CHE
Administrator, Lakeside Medical Center

Mr. Gibbons has served as the hospital’s administrator since its opening in 2009 and oversees daily operations. Previously he served as administrator of Glades General Hospital while transitioning personnel and equipment to the new Lakeside Medical Center.

With his nearly twenty years of hospital experience, Brian brings an invaluable background in rural healthcare management, not to mention his deep roots in Florida.

Prior to joining the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, which owns and operates Lakeside Medical Center, Mr. Gibbons was Chief Operating Officer of the Sebastian River Medical Center, an 86-bed acute care facility in Sebastian, Florida. From 2003 to 2007 he held executive-level positions at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico and Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico where he built community support, increased admissions and improved the hospital’s financial performance.

Earlier he worked in a variety of administrative positions at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Treasure Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in Vero Beach, and Cape Canaveral Hospital. Mr. Gibbons’ background includes development oversight of various hospital construction projects including a unique off-site Emergency Department.

Mr. Gibbons grew up in the Cocoa Beach area, the son of an orthopedic surgeon and a registered nurse. He earned his Master of Health Science and Master of Business Administration degrees at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a Certified Healthcare Executive with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Larry C. Singleton, Chief Financial OfficerLarry C. Singleton
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Singleton joined Lakeside Medical Center in July 2010. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all financial operations of the hospital. He has 30 years of experience in healthcare financial operations, utilizing information technology in a variety of environments.

Previously, Mr. Singleton was a consultant with Gustafson + Associates in Coral Springs, assisting various hospitals and health systems around the U.S. with interim management and revenue cycle process analysis/redesign.

From 2004 to 2007, he was a management consultant for CTG Healthcare Solutions in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served as interim manager of the Medicaid Conversion Department in a large safety net facility. For six years, he was CFO of Coral Springs Medical Center, a 200-bed public hospital in Broward County.

Mr. Singleton received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He received his Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University.

 

Jeffrey A. McRoberts, RN, BSN, MHA, CCRNJeffrey A. McRoberts, RN, BSN, MHA, CCRN
Director of Nursing

Mr. McRoberts joined Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, Fla. in October 2009. As Director of Nursing, he oversees the nursing staff, patient care, nursing operations, nursing quality, respiratory and pharmacy.

Prior to joining Lakeside Medical Center, Mr. McRoberts served as Corporate Administrator of Patient Care Operations at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare System in Memphis, Tenn., a not-for-profit system with over 1,880 beds, 6,000 nurses and 10,000 associates. During his tenure, he was responsible for operations and administration of designated areas, service lines, units, services, nursing and patient care, and information technologies.

From 2000 to 2007, he was Nursing Director of Critical Care at Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Fla., where he was instrumental in updating departmental standards of care, educational programs, policies and procedures. He also held a variety of supervisory and administrative positions earlier in his career.

Mr. McRoberts received his Master of Healthcare Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. He is also a Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).

Director of Operations and Patient Safety Officer

Ms. O'Neal has served Lakeside Medical Center and the facility it replaced, Glades General Hospital, in a variety of roles for 26 years.

In her 28 year career as a nurse, Nancy has functioned as the Infection Control Nurse, Risk Manager, Quality Improvement Director, Disaster Coordinator, as well as other regulatory and supportive roles. She brings to Lakeside Medical Center a passion for maintaining a safe healthcare environment for the hospital’s patients, staff, and visitors.  

Nancy has been instrumental in the development and updating of quality, patient safety, and infection control programs, policies and procedures during her tenure.
