At Lakeside Medical Center, keeping women healthy and delivering healthy babies are priorities. We offer enhanced Women’s Health Services, including primary care, maternal and child care, mammography, and bone densitometry to help women through all stages of their personal health.

Sherida Williams, MD and Marian Sampson, MD are two of the newest specialists to join the growing physician team at Lakeside Medical Center. 

Both OB/GYN's are thrilled to work in Palm Beach County’s newest hospital which features The Birthplace, complete with a large nursery and comfortable, private labor and delivery rooms for mothers, newborns and their families. 

State-of-the-Art Mammography
Lakeside Medical Center also offers technologically-advanced digital mammography screening for earlier detection of breast cancer.

The GE Senographe Essential generates electronic images in seconds, allowing physicians to provide patients with faster and more comprehensive diagnoses, which can save lives.

This mammography system was funded in part by a generous grant from PNC Bank, along with a Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Community Development Block Grant.

The Birthplace
Every time we help someone heal, it’s rewarding. But nothing brings smiles to our faces like sharing in the miracle of the birth of a baby.

At Lakeside Medical Center, we’ve done all we can to make the experience enjoyable for mothers and babies as well.

Our 6 private labor and delivery rooms and our 10 private postpartum rooms are spacious and comfortable, with sophisticated equipment at hand if needed.

Newborn babies stay with mom in her private, comfortable room as much as she likes, and spend the rest of their time with us in a cozy, relaxing nursery where they’re under watchful care every minute.
